Control of modifiable risk factors include;

*Eating healthy diet (more vegetables, more fiber rich foods, less processed foods, less fatty foods)

*Increased physical activity

*Maintain a healthy weight (avoid being overweight or obese)

*Reduce alcohol intake

*Avoid smoking (primary and secondary smoking)

*Breastfeed babies exclusively for 6 months

*Avoid long term (more than 5years) use of hormone replacement therapy

*Achieve full term first pregnancy before 30 years
