High Risk Behaviours in Adolescents

Adolescents and young people are supposed to be a healthy group; however, some suffer permanent disabilities due to high-risk behaviors they involve themselves in, such as violence, accident-prone activities, early sexual activities, and suicide.

Many diseases in adulthood also have their roots in the adolescent period, stemming from negative habits such as tobacco use, alcohol consumption, early sexual activities, substance abuse, poor eating habits, inadequate sleep, and a lack of exercise.

Let’s guide and encourage our young ones to make healthy, informed choices about their lives today for a healthy future.
